As we ring in the New Year, we take a look back at what product development was implemented in 2017 and how it performed. Here’s a look at what kept us busy over the year:

Helping Tenants

In February 2017, Property Button launched the HomeZe app, an app that identifies what gas, electricity, broadband, TV, phone and bin services are available at your property. As a tenant, you can log in to your personal portal, browse all services available to you and get set up with all of your utilities and residential services in minutes!

Helping Property Developers

In April 2017, Property Button set out to assist Property Developers with planning, coordinating and installing utility and residential services at development sites. We are now working with Developers managing 10,248 new homes at 122 developments, speeding up the energy and media switch process for thousands of residential units in Ireland.

Helping Estate and Letting Agents

In May 2017, Property Button launched the Estate Agent Portal. This portal was built to help Estate Agents offer their Vendors and Purchasers a value-added service at “Sale Closed”, allowing new homeowners to set up their gas, electricity, broadband, TV, phone and bin services from the one place, at a time that suits them. Hundreds of Estate Agents are now offering their vendors and purchasers a high-class move-in experience.

In August 2017, we launched a range of new support features in the Letting and Estate Agent portal. Agents can now track the status of all uploaded properties from their dashboard; they can create a support case from an uploaded property; view existing and historic cases raised at the account and individual level from the one place, and re-open previously closed cases if an issue arises. The support dashboard offers complete transparency and service level agreement on all case issues logged.

Helping Estate and Letting Agents and their Landlords

In July 2017, we launched our Nationwide BER Assessor service. The service allows Estate Agents, Landlords, and Property Managers to request BER certificates and track the status of BER certificate delivery timeline, ensuring a fast and efficient hassle-free service. The BER Assessor portal was also built to solve everyday issues BER Assessors face. The portal allows BER Assessors to store,  track and manage documentation, in line with the requirements of  Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI).

We’re constantly aligning our product development with our customers’ needs. Throughout the year we built on our core business and expanded across the value chain to Estate Agents and Developers. Having looked at what has worked well in 2017, we hope to hit the ground running with the same momentum for 2018 and continue to implement product features that solve everyday issues for our customers, while expanding our offering to other sectors within the property industry.

We have achieved fantastic growth in 2017, and of course, this would only have been possible with the support of our customers and partners who have continued to see value in our service.
