A very lucky student is taking off to Virgin Media’s V Festival in the UK, thanks to Property Button.
Maria Lyons, who attends the National College of Art and Design, was the lucky winner of the 2017 HOMEZE competition after signing up to the company’s new service “HOMEZE” as part of its launch on August 1st, 2017.
The free web-based app allows students setup their utilities in a few clicks on any device as they move into their new home.
The first app of its kind…
This is the first time a web-based app of this kind has been available to the market, and it takes away a lot of the pain points that students face when renting a new property.
As leaving cert students embark on their third-level career, perhaps having never lived away from home before, HOMEZE takes away a lot of the stress of being a tenant for the first time.
The Union of Students of Ireland
The Union of Students of Ireland see the value of HOMEZE for their students and have been actively promoting the app and the HOMEZE competition since its launch.
‘With the growth of on-demand digital services,’ said Marketing Manager, Andrew Sheehan, ‘HOMEZE meets the needs of Ireland’s next generation.’
Not only do The HOMEZE crew offer students helpful advice when moving, but once logged in, students are provided with unbiased information on a range of residential services available at their property from a choice of suppliers. The App also provides information on media services such as TV broadband and telephone, and bin services in the Dublin area.
Students can also change details, such as their address and landline number, thus taking further hassle out of renting and moving home.
“We’re delighted to be offering our HOMEZE services for free to students across the country. With HOMEZE, students can take the hassle out of moving by controlling all their utilities in one place at the click of a button” Property Button CEO, Jim Urell.
